Why Umbra

The idea for Umbra started at Docebo Inspire. Twice.

Both times, after I explained the automations I'd built to fellow Docebo admins, the reaction was the same: "I wish I could do that." Most admins aren't developers. They're L&D people who live in Docebo every day and feel real anxiety touching Connect, because it feels built for engineers, not for them.

I started running training sessions. People kept asking me back, because I wasn't teaching theory, I was showing use cases they could picture in their own systems.

But I've watched people leave a Connect training understanding the concept, then hit a wall the moment they tried to build it themselves. Teaching and implementing are two different jobs. With Umbra, I do both: I build the recipe, document it, and train your team to run it and keep experimenting on their own.

Jamie Brandow is an enterprise learning technology leader with 15+ years spanning learning strategy, platform architecture, and technology integration, including senior L&D roles at Walmart and Sam's Club before leading Docebo strategy at Lennar.

Her work connects Docebo to the systems around it (Workday, ServiceNow, identity management), so the data in it is accurate and people can trust it.

She's led large-scale LMS consolidations, HRIS and ServiceNow integrations, workflow automation, and enrollment architecture in complex organizations. She's a Docebo-certified practitioner with deep Connect, API, and platform configuration experience, and her work has earned four Brandon Hall awards, two from Walmart and two from Lennar.

Jamie founded Umbra Learning to bring enterprise-scale Docebo expertise to teams navigating integration and growth without an enterprise-sized team behind them.
